I am obsessed with elotes and the yogurt with fruit whenever I order at La Michoacana locations. I have tried 5+ locations and was surprised that I like their elotes here the best! Other locations can either be on the dry side or maybe too much mayo and not enough chili pepper. I think I liked theirs the best here because the corn itself tasted very buttery. If you're in the area try an elotes with everything, get some plain yogurt with your choice of fruit and don't forget the granola! Mangonadas are also another must try! (dessert with mango ice cream, chamoy and chili powder) They also have a lot of ice cream flavors. I love the guayaba and lime flavors with a drizzle of chamoy! Lastly, take some paletas home with you! My go to flavors are coconut, strawberry and chocolate. They have a wide variety of flavors, many that you don't normally see in grocery stores, give them a try!
My first experience with a 'spicy' ice cream.. enjoyed d concept.. tried spicy mango ice cream .. mango flavor wth d spiceness was just d perfect click.. i wd recommmend to go fr less spicy sauce while trying first time..
Got me a Mangonada and Coconut Ice Cream! Delicious and very friendly! Recommend when you need your Mexican dessert fix. ^__^
